Yup… revisited this ground last week (April 2009)…
It is more decent now with the completion of the new clubhouse, or should we call it club complex… The fairways are at least at an acceptable condition… the greens are still so-so, due to sand i would say…
Convenient for a quick, last minute decision, practice…

This place is used to be my training ground cos i like the narrow fairway (and lost lots of balls..ahak..ahak). Revisit last weekend (Feb 15, 2009), change a lot since my last visit (The Club…got swimming pool, gym, futsal, badminton court etc…hv to register as member b4 can use these facilities laa..)..night golfing some more..the green lots better now!

I`d played at Bukit Utama “The Club” last Wednesday, 7th Jan. The 2nd is doing fine now. That fella now is in good shape after the makeover. Pretty decent course. I like the last hole (used to be the 1st hole) where there is a tree in the middle of the fairway.

Go check out this course in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan. Its a bit out of the way but its definately worth it. its new by the way. go visit its website for more information.

Brian: if this site is chosen for as the 10 best site in Malaysia survey, Gilagolf will sponsor one flight of golf. If Top 10, then choose a course in NTS category, if Top 5, then Must Play, and if number 1, we sponsor flight in a DaGtH (da-ga-th) course, which is basically non-existent, i.e same as our probability in getting number 1 in Malaysia. Thanks for the encouragement though, and keep hacking!

Wow, this is good encouragement to keep writing. This site is almost reaching 30,000 visits since it began last year, with 37 courses reviewed! Due to the demand, my new year resolution is to ponteng more work and play more golf.

Kudos…you are back after such a long dreadful period. Wondering, where were you?..ducking during this time of economic crunch…but not with us, believe us you have many followers especially cangkuling kakis – be rain, thunderstorm but not until those off-the-course alarm rigging in our ears. Such “exotic” comments are eagerly waiting for. This time around of your course preview most interesting…BU9 course is very strange to us and was 1st introduced by my Golf kakis, but through it’s website link-lah..looks impressive but I convinced myself that “don’t judge the course by it’s photologic looks” (is there such word aaaah)..and your experianced and chankuling on the course said everything. We too feel and afraid to loose my diamond studded balls..priceless!

Wow! good review!….errr I meant to say the good piece of review written about the course….not that the course itself is reviewed as good….duh!

Anyway, its a delight to see some movements on this website lately. It has been a long hiatus. I, a keen follower will be totally devastated if the slumber continues on.

Come on Gilagolf, give us more postings/course review. You have a group of keen followers here, at least among my big group of golf buddies. Don’t deprive us of a good cuckle now and then. And get this….if there are more postings we might even consider nominating you to the Top 10 Best Websites in Malaysia Survey….if ever there was such a survey. But anyway, you get my drift.
