We just finished playing there last week , all I can say is they really maintenance the green very well.
We arrange for 2 flight , everyone of us is very happy with the condition of the green and the weather .
The only thing we fell pain is the drink charges at the hole no.10 , the prices are crazy.

hi GilaGolf,

i read all ur review before i plan to any of the courses before i go golfing there.
i maybe agree with ‘Jani’ who wrote feedback with this Bkt Tinggi course becoz last month ‘Golf Buaya’ magazines had a story review about this course with a new team of management.
im planning to golfing there by this 14 June’10 and hopefully it is not just ‘a story’ which is only nice to hear to be true…

Looks like its time to hit the highland courses again! I think new management also, from what I hear. At last, they are now opened to other people other than koreans!

I just played here a week ago… Two times 18 holes. And I have to disagree slightly with your review. This course deserves more credit currently IMHO.

Things that I see were improved:
1. Fairways were not as bad as when you played. The basic grass on bottom is the same, but now they were maintained, hence I would have given 2 points for this.
2. Service was pretty ok at least on the 2 days I was there. +1 to here from my exp.
3. And I actually had plenty of fun, even if I did lose couple of balls mysteriously also. Hence +2 for the fun factor at least from me.

The greens, well what can I say… There was maybe 4-5 greens in good condition, the rest were ok, and few were indeed in bad condition… But even there I feel that they have worked to improve things.

And the maintenance, when I was there on 2 days they were working hard to improve the condition all around all the time. So much that it bothered my game few times… Well I wasn’t in rush, so I didn’t really care.

But then again, they do have some competition coming up in end of March (might be just starting). And it might be that was the reason why the course happened to show it’s better side to me. That is although something that I think you should know, and maybe one day give this place a chance.

Oh yeah, and final note… The price, when I was there they had great promos, so I felt I played half free golf… Only RM53 for 18 holes, including for the buggy… This was some “monday offer”, but even in normal days it was about RM87 or something like that. For me this was great, and I could proceed without caddy, no any extra limitations etc. I had really fun there.

Booked and confirmed for 9 flights and on the eleventh hour was informed that booking cancelled (found out that a group of Koreans would want to play there)

If it rains, you just need to keep an eye out for the ball, it might get lost on the fairway! Also, unless really accurate, you might want to stick the driver in tbe bag and hit your 3. Good luck!
