Thanks matt for the update. Alas, good course run by mediocre management, it’s the story of malaysia. Still, the sunday pricing is good enough to go back to.

Nice course to play but agree that the caddies are a real waste of time and there isn’t even the consolation of them being nice to look as just lazy male caddies. I felt violated after tipping the caddie at the end of the round.

So no improvements in the caddies after almost 4 years.

Also not a fan of a club house where you can not have a quick beer while counting up the scores after the 18th …. no jug penalty for not getting past the ladies!!

Agreed. Bad enough it was a tournament, the caddy;

1) Insisted i hit shots i did not agree with by not grabbing the clubs i needed. and of course every time it was a bad call
2) Kept puffing on cigs throughout the game
3) Never kept an eye for my ball, declares lost ball after looking for 20 secs
4) Had the cheek to ask for my cigs when he ran out
5) When i gave him RM30 as a tip, he demanded RM50.

I will never play at impian again, and i strongly advice others not to waste their time there.

Agreed. I wish I was playing more golf these days…your comments brings me back to the good old days when I feel like chopping off a talkative caddie’s head with my 7 iron…ah, good memories.

do we have any concerted effort amongst malaysian golfers against blatant money-ripping golf clubs that insist on us taking a friggin useless caddies?

i applaud clubs like kgsaas that has good/acceptable caddies who hav some training and learn to shut up or talk when needed.

but clubs like ayer keroh and the abovementioned impian have ludicrous caddies that dont deserve one single cent of my money as “tips”.

i have once only tipped a caddy RM10 and my buggy mate gave RM20 cos he felt bad.

the question is why shd i tip more when i felt ripped off already? its my hard earned money, so why shd i feel bad about not tipping much to a useless person who makes a fuss to go back to the buggy to get a club she shd have brought out in the first place?

please enlighten me…

i hate caddy verry much.. cause lazy..talk like pro. intrupted my feeling during the game.. i can play much better without caddy..

I think it’s probably the same caddy. Or they go to the same caddy school. I’m going to start an anti-big-mouth-discriminative-caddy campaign and put them all out of job…

worst caddy ever.. Comment on my swing , on my shot and everything and thinks he’s a pro.. But what i heard is he only know how to say “pull” and “head up” =.= And his mouth will never close.. Talk when i am on the top of my swing , my downswing and even when i am putting.. I know i’m only 20 , and he think he can treat me like a kid who knows nothing about golf… Dammit , i had been playing since 10..

The most stupid thing a caddy had ever told me is call me to aim the bunker =.= Not only me , he call everyone to aim the bunker.. Crap…

I had never like a caddy before.. Especially after this one at Impian… No more caddy for me.. I prefer doing everything myself..

Btw , this freaking caddy got a big mole on his face.. You get him , call your flight mates to hold him down in the 18th tee box and tee off with the ball on his nose/or maybe on his big freaking mole.. Or throw him into the lake at the 12th..

And that day , it’s my worst golf ever…
