Just played here yesterday. Same cause - Clearwater was closed for a tournament on a Wed. Meru is cheaper for KRP members because even though there there is no affiliation, you have associate status. Using KRP for a bench mark - Meru is shorter, no forced long carry over water hazards for tee shots, no hidden breaks on the putting surface. The greens had medium speed (maybe 7/8) and was true for all 18 holes. The fairways were very well kept and roughs were not very rough - typical of a well kept resort course without much traffic. We were practically the only flight. Nobody in front and nobody behind. That alone was worth the green fee. It could be due to our very late tee off after rushing over from Clearwater. (but imagine Seri Selangor's crowd at any time). As a result, everyone had better scores than normal.
