Played there yesterday.
I promised myself i wont risk my life to play there again.
At least in few occasions the balls were flying bypass while we were on the putting green or when we are at the fairway. I think I have heard more than 100 times people shouting "Ball" or "Fore" in the span of few holes (2nd to 6th).

It is definitely not good for any golfer who is new to that course as you wont know where to hideaway when you heard "Ball / fore" as it can comes anyway. My partner had the ball flying passed his head, just few feets away when was trying to make his eagle putt. Phew, at least he got a birdie out of it.

After playing at Monterez a few times and almost hitting the nearby houses (next to the tee boxes), I stopped using my driver and only use 3 wood since.... Some houses are so close to the course that you can see inside their homes (the one with the swimming pool comes to mind) and one memorable one is when we can actually chat with the gal/maid who was hanging clothes. Told her to stay far since my friend has a wicked hook with is driver.
