Guess what I got charged almost rm 60 for 4 small bottles of water. It was rm 48 for 4 plus plus. I could have got it the shell station for rm 1.30 ea. (no its not perrier water.) Caddies are a suckloads. they have been pampered with easy money from the tan sris. The golf experience in Malaysia could be so much better if the service would just improve. Or, just don't force us to pay for lousy service! We're, unfortunately, still a non-service oriented country, and we will do well to copy our neighbours in Thailand and give A-class service so we won't feel like we're being extorted when we pay for it. Malaysia? First world infrastructure, third world service. Glenmarie is the definition of that. I agree. The golf experience in Malaysia could be so much better if the service would just improve. And it was not just because I was not used to the heat. I felt that I liked the course but then there was so many other things that made me feel weird (caddy, service and mainly the pricing of everything there) that in the end I felt that I will never come back there - which also made me sad, because the course really would deserve more attention without all the mixed emotions...
