By the way, for those AGSSG card holders, you will notice that rate publish in their list for UPM is RM110 nett per pax for Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday, morning and afternoon sama saja. But for walk in, it will only cost you RM85 nett per pax (twin sharing on buggy), something is not right here. So if you wanna play at this course, just gate crashed lah. Piece of advice, do call the club house first to ensure there are no tournament there. University courses like UPM and Danau, UKM seems to have tournament almost every weekend.

As for direction, actually is quite simple: take the Lebuh Raya Utara Selatan (PLUS), enter from Sg. Besi toll, exit at first junction (UPM/Serdang) toll. Once you pay your toll, immediately make a left turn just before the first traffic light (with a flyover). Go straight.....about 500 - 600 metre, you will see signboard with "Lebuh Silikon", take this exit, you will face a junction. Make a right turn, go straight, see a guardhouse. Pass the guardhouse, go straight, the road will climb a little bit. Then it will slope down, at almost the end of the slope, turn left. Go straight in....you are there.

If you come from Putrajaya there (not sure if it is SILK), take a turn when you see UPM/Seri Kembangan signboard. Again, look out for Lebuh Silikon on the left. Take the left exit, then immediately at the junction, turn left. You will see the guard house in front of you.

If you come from KL (MRR 2), exit at Sungai Besi. Go straight all the way pass Golden Palace, Mines, Serdang Lama......just go straight and look out for Lebuh Silikon on left exit. Key thing here is always look for Lebuh Silikon.

As for the course, the beauty is you will have to be early as they have limited buggy. So if you are late, then no buggy cannot play lor.

Currently the green fee is RM60, buggy is RM50 per buggy. Yeah, make sure you bring lots and lots of balls. As for the back nine, it is very important to ensure you drive your ball straight. Go kiri or kanan, the chances of finding your ball is even more remote then your wife allowing you to have a mistress. Sometimes I am incline to use 3 wood, but for certain holes such as hole 10, (Par 4), if you don't use a driver, your ball will probably land at the 45% slope, with no sight of the green, so how? Par 3s are very punishing.

Play the second nine first, then you will appreciate the first nine very much. Green is pretty good, better than courses like Bukit Kemuning.

By the way, please bring mosquito repellant.......

Latest weekend rate is RM50.00 per head for green fees and RM 50 per buggy (for two persons). This means RM75 per person during week end and cheaper during weekdays.

Its really not that bad for the first nine, but your balls can be plugged into ground and bunkers flooded after rains.

For beginners, please bring more balls there, the second nine is really beginners unfriendly, this is cow grass course and can be soggy if it rains in the night before you play the next morning, don't leave your mobile phones in the buggy, the monkeys (real) might steal it!

UPM is reasonably priced and close by. Just keep things in perspective, its still a UNI course!

Most of the Male Staff at the course have PR issues, save a few! Special mentions to the grumpy old man with the Kopiah who thinks he is doing everyone a favour by allowing them to play at UPM! Absolutely wonderful to deal with such a sour character early in the morning! GUESS YOU CANT WIN THEM ALL!
