UPM is reasonably priced and close by. Just keep things in perspective, its still a UNI course!

Most of the Male Staff at the course have PR issues, save a few! Special mentions to the grumpy old man with the Kopiah who thinks he is doing everyone a favour by allowing them to play at UPM! Absolutely wonderful to deal with such a sour character early in the morning! GUESS YOU CANT WIN THEM ALL!

srixoniest, couldn’t agree with you more! the pakcik with the kopiah is very fierce! haha. But he’s not the club’s captain (thank God), the real captain is Haji Dzul, really nice lad.

Agree with the writer as well – its quite hard to find the way there. As for the course, it gives you a good combination – wide fairways in 1st nine, narrower in 2nd nine, short and long holes, ‘play-safe’ and ‘go-for-it’ holes, all sorts. All in all, a good training-course.

I’ve played this course last two weeks and will repeat again this weekend. Last game the course was fantastic especially the greens. The back nine greens have been rebuilt and they are better now than the front nine. And as Y.E. Yang said the food there damn guuuud and cheap although the set up like a school canteen. Anyway, who cares!

i’ve tried the first 9 of this course about 3 months ago..quite ok. with the wide fairway. very meant for the beginners like me..BUT 1 thing i didnt like about this course..The captain..an old man with ‘kopiah’..very fierce and unfriendly..told us this game is only for elite people as one of my pal has left his spikeshoes at home…uninsured mouth..disgusting..

Yupp….makan at the restaurant is damn good…especially its morning curry puff…be there before 8 but don’t buy and put in your buggy…you will be generously donating to the monkeys…I mean real monkeys…;-)

Just an update for the unreachable contact number listed up there.. this is the latest one: 8946 7996… and one thing, the easiestway to enter is by using the gate 8, the entrance near the soccer stadium, i.e jln maklumat

am playing there tomorrow, looking fwd to a good golfing experience there

should go and try out the refurbished 1st nine, good experience, very scenic par 4s i would say, nice work.
