I know it’s risky, but I’m going to put as many pictures in as possible and explain every single dints, scratches and stuff as detailed as possible.
Terms: Of course, I understand the risk of getting second hand goods. You just don’t want to be a sucker. Well, if you’re in KL/PJ area, we can meet up at driving ranges and you can test out the clubs first. If you like it, ok, pay for it there and then, if not, well, it might not suit you well. That way, everyone is happy.
I don’t want to be too anal at this, after all, if you’re a golfer, we are all in the Gila Family. We all want everyone to improve, but still gotta make sure all parties happy first. I think the best thing is to arrange it offline with us and we’ll work it out.

Iron sets are quite risky buys so I avoid those. However there are some cheap sets around MST and RGT (if cheap for you is over RM1000) Another recommendation is to head over to some proshops and ask them for second hand sets. Bukit Kemuning has some sets, as well as the Bukit Jelutong Driving Range pro shop. The guys at Hartamas driving range (Roger’s) might have some too. I bought a good old Ping Eye 2 set there fro RM700 plus bag.
Nah, I don’t have any golf bags, but you can get one pretty reasonable (PGA Tour model) stand bag for about RM250 – RM300. Would advise to go to MST/Golf house and see. Usually second hand bag will come with the clubs, likely.

Nah, I don’t have any iron sets, too troublesome to keep or sell for people…but as mentioned, some of these pro shops have decent second hand irons: try Bukit Jelutong Range, or Kiara Driving range. I recommend decent sets, not the beginner ones with drivers etc thrown in.
By the way, Golf House is selling the New Big Bertha for RM690. Should check it out.

need help. was told hibore xl driver is non conforming to usga, (own one, n it suits me well). wht happen if i continue to use? got some info n pix fm usga- (http://www.usga.org/equipment/images/clubs/20070381.jpg) but still in doubt. my xl got a ‘dot’ or ‘foreign particle’ (like pasir la) in ‘H’ which not like in the usga pix. how ah?

Well, I guess if you’re a pro/semi-pro, and its non conforming, it’s problem la…must change. Like for some club championship/monthly medals, they quite strict one.
For me, personally, and for my friends, because our golf sucks so bad; anything resembling any sort of advantage in our normal games, we will use it. If they invented a helium golf ball, I’ll be the first one to use it. The thing is, whether it’s conforming or not, it doesn’t really make much difference to me…I’ll still score the same!
