The Gilagolfer Returns
Just a quick shout out to the Gila Fans…I know I’ve been sucking at updating this site, but things are now changing. I have now unlimited time to play golf since I have joined in the statistics of the ‘Penganggurs of Malaysia’, i.e guys that got the pink slip, or in this case, the call of death while playing golf.
Will be updating soon!

Brother,
Not to worry, our prayers are with you. In case you need a helping hand in reviewing the courses, please do give me a shout. I can organize to be out once a week at least and both days on weekends.

Khawar

Dear gilagolfer ,
I saw your web site today;
I am a gilagolfer living in Japan. I like to visit Malaysia and play golf during the year end and the new year week. My wife (40 ys old) and I (51 ys old) are going to visit Malaysia from December 30th to January 6th.
We would like to play golf ( 18 holes ) on those days every day.
We will stay at Bangi Equatorial Hotel from 30 Dec to 06 Jan.
We are looking for Malaysian golfer(s) to play with us . Our handicaps are both 20.
We love to play golf in Malaysia. We visit Malaysia every year in these ten years. We have stayed and played golf at Bangi, Palm Garden, Awana Genting, and Saujana in these ten years. I have played golf only with my wife so far. This year we would like to play golf with Malaysian golfers because we want to make friends with Malaysian people. So I looked for web sites about golf in Malaysia. And we reached your web site and now we are asking.
Could you give us any suggestions?
Best regards,
Mr and Mrs Nakamura

Hellow there! Yes, the gilagolfer is pretty free these days, have been playing lots of golf (and getting higher and higher scores) on reviewed courses, unfortunately. Hmm, Bangi is always a nice course to play, very friendly, avoid the 3rd nine if possible. Palm Garden, I hear is under long term maintenance, and only has one nine, we’ll need to check that one out. Saujana is of course great. I know a guy that can bring us in, it’s not cheap, but definitely worth your while. Others you might want to consider: Kajang Hill (v good course the last i played which was many years ago…but $$ is expensive), Nilai Springs and Staffield down south, you might want to give Bukit Unggul a shot. KGPA is also reasonable, and if you want to pay, Tropicana and KGNS are courses you won’t go wrong in.
I might be able to get some flights to join you over that week, but I might be travelling to Singapore for the new year. Even if we hook up a day would be great. Do let me know in advance a week or so, my number is +6019 278 8629, you can drop me an sms.

Dear Mr Nakamura,
I would also be happy to Join you to complete the foursome. Please do let me know if you need any assistance with tee time bookings etc. Most places would allow us to book on weekday and for places like Saujana, Tropicana etc i can use my member friends to sign us in.
Best Regards
